EYEA provides a variety of innovative programs and services, including academic and life skill development, cultural exposure and enrichment, sports, recreation, community building, leadership and career development. Target population: At-Risk Youth – ages 16 – 26.
EYEA’s diversified portfolio includes disciplines in roofing, home rehab, opioid/substance abuse recovery, sports/nutritional fitness and artist development.
Recovery and Wellness – proactive evidence based approach to recovery that responds to the distinct needs of each youth. Services include street outreach, a safe space to socialize and meet other sober youth in the community, peer support groups, social activities, mental health services, case management, emergency shelter and individualized treatment plans. We seek to promote active and healthy living by empowering youth to find sustained recovery from addiction.
Career Development Services – aims to empower youth to take an active role in shaping their futures by developing personalized career plans and providing them with tools to achieve goals. Services will include one-on-one counseling, job readiness workshops to assist with resume writing, interview preparation, job applications, social responsibility, leadership development, critical thinking and decision-making skills, linkages to College Access and Success, and on-site workforce readiness training. Job placements will be offered in roofing, home rehab and construction.
Youth Athletic Center – this state-of-the-arts indoor sports facility aims to promote health and wellness and restore physical culture in youth and in communities. The indoor athletic complex will offer a gym, soccer, baseball, basketball, dance lessons and a sober bar for the sports fanatic that seeks an environment without temptation. Programs will introduce principles of sportsmanship, fair play, and healthy eating habits.
Fashion, Film, Art, Music – a unique model that creates pathways for artists to progress in their artistic practices and careers. Programs fill critical gaps in traditional models for artist growth and development, and provides a variety of access points and means of support for artists working at all levels.
